Paul H. Dunn

Photo of Paul DunnAge 69, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at his home after a five year battle with colon cancer. He was born October 24, 1945 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Jerome Howard & Lucy Kathern (Steeb) Dunn. Paul retired from the Michigan Department of Transportation after 34 years. After retiring from MDOT, he was a delivery man for Gigi's Flowers. He was an avid stamp and coin collector. Paul was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chelsea where he served as an usher. He was a member of the Lyndon Township Board of Review. Paul was an active member of the Chelsea Senior Center.

Donna F. Chambers

of Manchester, formerly of Chelsea, age 71, died Monday, August 10, 2015 at her home with her family. She was born May 26, 1944 in Hudson, Michigan, the daughter of Donald & Florence (Huff) Murphy. Donna graduated from Hudson High School in 1962, and earned her Associates degree from Siena Heights in 1985.  After graduation, she started working for the University of Michigan in 1986, until her retirement in 2009.  Donna was an active member of Sharon United Methodist Church.  She and Dan were very involved in the Ann Arbor Ski Club.  Donna’s hobby was jewelry making, and she derived great joy spending time with her grandchildren and attending their various events.

William Edward Cox

of Garden City, MI, formerly of Chelsea, age 45, lost his battle with cancer on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at  U of M Hospital. He was born February 6, 1970 in Saginaw, the son of John L. & Mary Ellen Cox.  Ed graduated from Chelsea High School in 1988. He served in the US Air Force before working at iConnect, and later at Tegrit Software Ventures. 

Leo A. Hafner

of Pinckney, MI, age 72, died Sunday, August 9, 2015 at University Hospital in Ann Arbor. He was born November 12, 1942 in Chelsea, Michigan, the son of William J. & Mary B. (Honeck) Hafner. Leo was a 1960 graduate of Chelsea High School. He worked at U of M in maintenance, retiring in 1993. Leo enjoyed cruising in his old car. He was a conservationist who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Leo belonged to the Pigeon Club “American Giant Homers Association” and raised rabbits.

Clotine "Bobbie" Aldrich

Of Grand Rapids, Michigan, formerly of Chelsea, age 79, died Thursday, August 6, 2015 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She was born May 11, 1936 in Salyersville, Kentucky, the daughter of Amos & Frances (Bailey) Auxier.   Bobbie was a member of Faith Baptist church for many years. She also attended Dexter Gospel for several years.
