Carol Anderson Schauer

of Ann Arbor, MI, age 78, died Saturday, December 28, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Archie & Irene (LaRoe) Anderson.  On July 11, 1987, she married Bruce Schauer in Chelsea, and he survives. Other survivors include her children, Darlene (Pat) Marzec of Grass Lake, Michael Payne of Addison, Paula Payne Adkins of Ann Arbor, Bobby (Barb) Marr of Tecumseh; one sister, Janice (Jim) Fullerton of Ann Arbor; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Anderson of Saline; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Lee Payne; brothers George (Gert) and Ralph Anderson; two grandchildren, Micheal & Kyle Payne, and her parents.

Dale Schumann

Dale Arthur Schumann of Chelsea, age 82, died Monday, December 23, 2019, at Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson, MI. He was born May 8, 1937, in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Arthur & Helen (Heindel) Schumann.
 
In 1958, Dale graduated from Ferris Institute (present-day Ferris State University) with a Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy.  In 1975, Dale moved his family from Ann Arbor to Chelsea, where he was a partner in Chelsea Pharmacy for many years. Dale served the community on the Chelsea School Board from 1978-1986, and as a Chelsea Village Council Trustee from 2000-2004. He was an avid bridge player, belonging to a bridge club that met for over 30 years. Dale also enjoyed making model planes, and was a huge fan of baseball. He loved running and being in the mountains.
 

Robert Charles Lang

of Chelsea, Michigan, formerly of Detroit, Livonia, age 92, died Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Chelsea Retirement Community. He was born April 27, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Samuel & Louise (Nagel) Lang.

Robert served in the US Army during WWII. He worked for Chrysler Corporation until his retirement.  Following his retirement, he drove school bus for Livonia Public Schools and Suttons Bay Public Schools.

Nola Patrick

Nola Patrick of Chelsea, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 22, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born December 3, 1937, in Foraker, Kentucky, the daughter of George & Katie (Dunn) Lovely.

Nola retired from Federal Screw Works after working for over 20 years. She was a very active member of Chelsea First Assembly of God. Nola loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Cynthia M. “Cindy” Case

of Chelsea, Michigan, formerly of Dearborn Heights, age 58, passed away after a short illness with her husband by her side on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born February 25, 1961, the daughter of Leslie “Jerry” & Mary Jo (Cherry) Pierce.  Cindy graduated from Robichaud High School in 1979. She worked for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor as a clerk in the billing department. Prior to St. Joe's, she had worked for Gelman Sciences/Pall Corp. Cindy enjoyed crafts and shopping, but she enjoyed her grandkids most of all.
