Denise Kay "Dennie" Schiller

Of Chelsea, Michigan, age 75, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the University of Michigan Hospital. She was born January 19, 1947 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Robert G. & Leona M. (Weinberg) Foster.

Dennie was a first grade teacher for the Chelsea School District for 38 years. She felt blessed to have shared her love of teaching with so many of Chelsea’s families. Dennie was not just a teacher...this was her calling and there was no one better at this profession. She was effortless in delivering curriculum but magical in teaching life lessons. “Your heart always knows the truth.” were words overheard in her first-grade classroom. Mrs. Schiller’s imprint lives on in her students’ hearts. Dennie’s family and lifelong friends are witness to her loyal and unwavering love. This fierce love for her people has no expiration, she lives on in all she loved. She will be in every child’s giggle, every mischievous look, every selfless act of generosity, and every word of love spoken or written, there will be Dennie.

Audrey Constance (Wheeler) Fultz

Of Chelsea, Michigan, formerly of Orange, NJ, Florham Park, NJ, Holmdel, NJ; Scio Township, MI, and Dexter, MI.

Age 97, died Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Chelsea Retirement Community. She was born February 1, 1925 in Orange, New Jersey, the daughter of George and Helen (Denike) Wheeler.

Audrey graduated from West Orange High School in New Jersey, and then Brookdale Community College, where she later worked as a clerical assistant. Audrey enjoyed gardening and was an active member in the Garden Club R.F.D. in Middletown, NJ. As a talented artist she enjoyed capturing images that brought joy to many. She especially like working with pencil sketching as a method of rendering wonderful drawings. Reading was another area of passion which she enjoyed sharing with Kenneth over the years.

Terrie Jean Passow

of Jackson, Michigan, age 67, went to be with the Lord due to heart problems Sunday, June 12, 2022. She was born June 16, 1954, in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of William Emory and Virginia Mae (Brinkmen) Snyder.

Terrie graduated from Grass Lake High School in 1974. She worked for Big Boy in Chelsea and in Jackson. Terrie was a member of Harvest Baptist Church (formerly North Sharon Baptist) and was a real prayer warrior. Terrie was a very honest person with an infectious smile. She was a perfect wife for Darryl and loved her children and grandchildren. The most important thing to her was her family going to heaven.

Marian Jewell Tapp Mansfield

It is with great sorrow we announce that our mother Marian, age 90, died Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Evangelical Home in Saline. She was born August 13, 1931 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of Charles Robert Ernest and Mattie Lee (Hooper) Brown.

Marian worked in the trucking industry, retiring from Roadway Trucking in 1995, as Regional Claims Manager. She was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary in Boca Raton, Florida. She liked to travel. She traveled throughout the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, and Hong Kong. Marian was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor.

Kathryn "Kathy" Ann Wlosinski

Of Brooklyn, formerly of Canton, age 70, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021 at her home in Brooklyn. She was born April 17, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Henry William and Dolores Patrica (Mayszak) Becker.

 Kathy grew up in Oak Park graduating from Ferndale High School in 1969. She married the love of her life, Bob, on June 17, 1972. The following year they made their home in a wonderful neighborhood in Canton, where they lived and raised their family for the next 29 years. In 2002, they built their home on the site of the family cottage on Vineyard Lake in Brooklyn, Michigan, and have enjoyed lake living ever since. Family always came first for Kathy; her children and grandchildren were her life. Kathy worked in customer service for over 30 years and truly enjoyed helping her clients, most recently at Edward Jones in Manchester and Chelsea. Kathy always had a smile for everyone and had a positive outlook on life, even during her four year battle with cancer. She will be missed by all who knew her.
