Deann Rosentreter

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Deann Louise Rosentreter announces her sudden passing on Tuesday July 16, 2019 at the age of 49. Deann will be remembered by her children Natasha Plumley, Patrick Rosentreter and Mariah Rosentreter along with six grandchildren, Jaycee, Tripp and Rosalie Plumley, Aubrey Rosentreter, Kaylyn Rosentreter and Aliyah Elwood. Deann will be deeply missed by her mother Norine Collins. She will be forever remembered by her brothers John Collins, Chris Collins, Mark (Debbie) Collins, Tommy (Charice) Collins, her sisters Colleen (Dean) Thompson, and Beth (Jim) Fink, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Deann is pre deceased by her father John Richard Collins and brothers, John Alan Collins and Ronald Lee Collins.

Timothy James Klever

of Chelsea, Michigan, age 70, died Thursday, July 18, 2019 at University of Michigan Hospital. He was born November 27, 1948 in Toledo, OH, the son of James Warren & Marjorie Mae (Miller) Klever. Tim graduated from St. Thomas High School in Ann Arbor and then attended Eastern Michigan University. He worked at the University of Michigan L.S.A. Deans office. Tim loved ballroom dancing, listening to live music, and U of M football. He also enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and fishing. More than anything, Tim loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He was a man of remarkable spirit and love.

Doris Elaine Kope

of Ann Arbor, MI, age 82, died Friday, July 19, 2019 at St. Joe Ann Arbor. She was born March 15, 1937 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of William H. & Sophia (Oesterle) Winter. Doris was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor. She was a paralegal and secretary - receptionist at several law firms and for Alpha Solutions.

She married  Paul E. Kope on Nov. 3, 1956 in Grass Lake and he preceded her in death on March 10, 2009. Survivors include a son, David Bryan Nickerson and his wife, Lori; a daughter, Dawn Marie Gray (Kope); three grandchildren; two great grandsons; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Victor Winter, Herman Edwin Winter, Irene Harrison, Betty Moon, and Marie Riplow.

Andy Sanders

died Friday morning, July 19, 2019 at Arbor Hospice Residence in Saline. He was born and named James Andrew Sanders on March 29, 1971 at the old St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. His mother Linda Sanders Allen of Grand Haven, Mi and father Gordon L Sanders of Pentwater, MI both survive him.

He leaves his two sisters; Tina Sanders Tilton of Grand Haven and Charity Allen Beeman of Chelsea; two brother-in-laws, Matt Tilton of Spring Lake, MI and Eric Beeman of Chelsea; and twin nieces, Sophia and Eva Tilton of Grand Haven. He also leaves his Aunt, Linda Gentle; Uncle, Gary Anderegg; and cousins, Jennifer Anderegg and Kimberley Wright. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Allen; Uncle, Jesse Sanders; cousin, Gordy Wright; and all of his grandparents.

Mary Woodruff

of Brevort Township, MI, formerly of Monroe, age 73, died peacefully at the cabin she loved in the U.P. with her family surrounding her on July 15, 2019. She was born in Havana, Cuba on December 24, 1945 to Evaristo and Maria Teresa (Garcia) Rodriguez.  She and her family moved to Detroit, MI in 1951 where she graduated from Holy Redeemer High School in 1963 and then from the University of Michigan in 1967.  She taught Biology at Airport High School for more than 30 years.  She was a life-long learner and loved everything about nature especially plants, frogs, and birds.  She loved the cabin that she built with her husband and was grateful to spend her last month there surrounded by many family and friends, hummingbirds and loons.
