Love and peace to you Denise and family
My dad had stories that he wouldn’t share with children around. One time Uncle Dave visited Dad at home and offered to take him for a ride down 8 Mile in Detroit. Mom wouldn’t let dad go.
Thank you for your service Uncle Dave.
Peace to you, Denise, and your family.
We looked to forward to his visits at the family home. Not sure my brothers did as much because dad would talk him into giving my them haircuts after they had a few toddies. They have stories to tell you about that.
The end part of the rosary comes to mind: O God, whose only-begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal salvation.
Memories will be cherished forever.
Love ya Uncle Dave.
