of Stockbridge, MI, age 62, died Thursday, March 14, 2019 at his home in Stockbridge, Michigan. He was born October 14, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Walter G. & Stella V. (Szczepanik) Sheremet. Gerard was a carpenter, a handyman and a business owner but mostly he loved sailing and scuba diving. He was never afraid to dream or to try new adventures such as building a log home or teaching himself how to sail. He loved his family and had a special affection for the family dogs.He leaves behind his daughter, Candice, son Dean and grandson Atlas. He is also survived by his sisters Victoria (Michael) Macyda, Marlene (Richard) Bowling
and his brother Nicholas (Sandra) Sheremet, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Gerard’s family will receive friends Sunday, March 31, 2019, from 2-4 pm at the Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea.
