Obituaries

of Ypsilanti, formerly of Ann Arbor. Age 81, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Birchwood Estates of Ann Arbor. She was born July 17, 1935 in Burlington, VT, the daughter of Norman & Celine (Snyder) Bleau.  Jacqueline worked at Comfort Inn on Carpenter Road in Ann Arbor, as well as some other hotels in the area. She enjoyed going to Cloverleaf Restaurant in downtown Ann Arbor, where she met Roy. Jacqueline enjoyed watching movies, mainly Lifetime and Shirley Temple movies.

On February 5, 2005, she married Royal L. Richards Jr., and he survives.  She is also survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Center (Don Bates) of Ypsilanti. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Johnny Gurk and Randell Center.

A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, April 4, 7:00 pm at Cole Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeffery Harrold officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, 6:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Jacqueline Richards to help with funeral costs. Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel.
