Obituaries

of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Age 89, died Sunday, March 19, 2017 at his home with his family at his side.  He was born July 21, 1927 in Sarasota, Florida, the Son of Louis F. & Mary (Klukowski) Rybarsyk.  His four sisters, Lois Reis, Marcia Ryskamp, Jane (Sister Thomas More) and Jerry Kosak preceded him in death.

Frank was employed by National Bank & Trust Company of Ann Arbor which merged with National Bank of Detroit from which he retired after holding many management positions specializing in consumer lending. He attended St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Saline and was a WWII Navy Veteran.

He married Helen Siwek on September 3, 1949 in Lansing, MI, and she preceded him in death on August 9, 2011 as well as an infant daughter, Judy Lynn.  Survivors include one son, Richard (Becky) Rybarsyk of Ann Arbor; three daughters, Jane Black (Don Rankin) of Brooklyn, Suzanne (Dale) Fiser of Ann Arbor, Linda Rybarsyk, his special child who lived with him until his death; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his weekly cocktail buddies as well as other retired bankers who met once a month.  Everyone will miss the his humor and generosity.

No services are planned. A Celebration of his life may be held later in the year.  Memorial contributions may be made  to a charity of your choice.  Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.
