of Chelsea, MI, formerly of Youngstown, OH, Alexandria & Stafford, VA, age 72, died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Chelsea Retirement Community. She was born April 20, 1940 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Vias & Violet Amelia (Wood) Harris.
On May 28, 1960, she married Bob Foster in Alexandria, VA, and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2012. Survivors include a daughter, 
Laura (John) Thorhauer of Chelsea; a son, Bob (Diana) of Fredericksburg, VA; 3 grandchildren, Casey Foster, Travis Foster and Kirsten Thorhauer; and many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her family's wishes, a local service was not held. Burial will take place at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution to UMRC Heritage Foundation, 805 W. Middle St, Chelsea, MI 48118 (c/o Howard S. Holmes Endowment to support charitable care at Towsley Village). Arrangements by Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.
