Obituaries

of Chelsea, Michigan, formerly of Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and Manistique, age 72, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at his home under hospice care. He was born October 3, 1952, in Highland Park, Michigan, the son of Glen Wesley and Eunice (Davenport) Dean.

Glen attended high school in Ann Arbor, and graduated from Dexter High School in 1970. He then attended Washtenaw Community College. Glen worked in construction as a Cement Mason with his father in the Ann Arbor area. He enjoyed being outside and making music. He played the guitar, bass, and drums and was in several bands, most recently in the band Easy. Glen was a good man.

Glen married Cheryl Jean Graham on February 1, 1975, in Ann Arbor, and they were happily married for 50 years. In addition to his wife, Glen is survived by his sisters, Bonnie Powell of Tustin, and Tana (Thom Keller) Dean of Ann Arbor; and 6 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Jack Powell.

No services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Huron Valley, 3100 Cherry Hill Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48105. Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea.
