Of Gregory, Michigan, age 71, died Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Trinity Health in Ann Arbor. She was born August 2, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Peter and Eleanore (Jensen) Bender.It was her love of animals that brought her to her career as a professional dog groomer.
On October 2, 2015, she married Joan Rose Bild. Joan preceded her in death on November 23, 2021. She is survived by a sister, Debi (David) Sierpien of Washington, Michigan; her niece, Dana (Mike) Stafford; and great-nieces Kaitlyn and Samantha Stafford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Brian and Bruce Bender.
A private memorial will be held at Carol's home. Arrangements by Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.
