Age 69, died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at his home after a five year battle with colon cancer. He was born October 24, 1945 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Jerome Howard & Lucy Kathern (Steeb) Dunn. Paul retired from the Michigan Department of Transportation after 34 years. After retiring from MDOT, he was a delivery man for Gigi's Flowers. He was an avid stamp and coin collector. Paul was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chelsea where he served as an usher. He was a member of the Lyndon Township Board of Review. Paul was an active member of the Chelsea Senior Center.
On December 15, 1973 he married Mary “Jean” Rodger, and she survives. Other survivors include three sons, Douglas (Royann) of Swartz Creek, Stewart (Carrie) of Augusta, and Andrew (Stephanie) of Saginaw; six grandchildren, Katherine, Celah, Bella, Eric, Emily, and Elizabeth.
Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass was held Monday, August 17, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chelsea, with Rev. Dr. William J. Turner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Chelsea Senior Center, St. Mary Catholic Church, or WKAR-TV. Arrangements by Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.
