of Chelsea, went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2015. She was born October 8, 1931 in Chelsea, Michigan, the daughter of John C. & Esther E. (Page) Schneider. Marlene graduated from Chelsea High School in 1950 and Hamilton Business College in 1952. She was a member of Mt. Hope Bible Church. Marlene loved being outdoors and enjoyed God’s beautiful creation. On November 25, 1967, she married Walter “Joe” Keezer, and he preceded her in death on March 9, 1998.
Survivors include her children, Peggy (Dan) Nutt, Carolyn (Richard) Pichea, Judy (Steven) Shepherd; her grandchildren, David, Daniel, Jason, Holly, Lisa, and Steven Ray; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson; two brothers, Robert Schneider and Donald (Shirley) Schneider, both of Chelsea, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Christian J. Schneider and her sister-in-law, Billie Schneider.
A private graveside service was held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea, with Rev. Joseph O’Neill officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Hope Bible Church, 12884 Trist Rd, Grass Lake, MI 49240. Arrangements by Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.
