Age 69, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at her home under the care of her family and Arbor Hospice. She was born February 19, 1944 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of George & Elizabeth (Hengels) Kern.

A Funeral Mass was held Friday, May 3rd at McKenzie Funeral Home in Oak Forest, Illinois. Burial was in Chicago. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Local arrangements by Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, MI.
