Stan was my godfather, and was always a positive and admired presence in my life. I remember how excited I would get whenever he would come visit my parents when I was kid (partly because he always had a gift for me). I have fond memories of him taking me out to lunches, or to children's museums, or really anything he could do to spend time with me. He was always quick-witted and kind, and constantly lifted me up and supported me, even at times when others questioned my decisions. I always felt that he loved me like one of his own children, and I'll never forget that love or friendship. I'll miss him greatly.
