Obituaries

of Dexter, Michigan, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the University of Michigan Hospital. She was born December 11, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan.  Rosemary graduated from Waterford Kettering High School in 1967. She then earned her Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts from Washtenaw Community College and her Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Michigan University in Early Childhood Education. Rosemary was a Deacon at Knox Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor, and a member of the Dexter Senior Center where she enjoyed playing Mahjong. She also enjoyed hiking, reading, painting, drawing and herb gardening.
 
On August 16, 1981, Rosemary married John “Jack” William Collins and he survives. Other survivors include special cousins, Joanne, Frank and Ed Waller, and Susan Lube; nephews, Robert and Jacob Landsparger, Jon Moyer, Todd Moyer, Kerr Moyer; niece, Kristy Doherty; and sisters, Mary Ann Samson and Diane Davenport. She was preceded in death by her step-sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Arnold Landsparger; and nephew, Donald Landsparger. 
 
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor, with Pastor David Brown officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, from 10-11 a.m. A private burial will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to Knox Presbyterian Church to benefit children with special needs, 2065 S. Wagner Rd. Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea.
