of Jackson, Michigan, formerly of Grass Lake, age 78, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Faith Haven Senior Care Centre in Jackson. She was born June 25, 1946, in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of George Edward and Lucille May (Hoover) Sanderson.
Carol was a Chelsea High School graduate, class of 1964. She lived her entire life in the Chelsea, Grass Lake area. She enjoyed researching the family genealogy, needlepoint, crocheting, and acquiring many unique collections.

Carol is survived by her sister, Lola (Troy) Lewis of Linden; her brothers, Gary (Gayl) Sanderson of Grass Lake, and Thomas (Michael) Sanderson of Ann Arbor; nieces, Brenda (Tim) O’Callaghan, Leah (Jim) Hall, Johanna Sanderson, and Jessica Sanderson; nephews, Joel (Allison) Sanderson, Andy (Jennifer) Sanderson, Shaun (Sarah) Sanderson; several great-nieces and -nephews; and her friend, Darrell Swetland. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roy Sanderson; sister-in-law, Roberta Sanderson; and niece, Amy Vogt.
No services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Carol's family to help with expenses.
