of Chelsea MI, age 93, died peacefully on January 5, 2024 at Legacy Assisted Living in Jackson. He was born March 10, 1930 in Manchester, MI, the son of Charles and Lydia (Floto) Wurster.Ralph graduated from Manchester High School in 1948. He joined the Army after high school. On October 23, 1953 he married Phyllis P. Vogel. They were married for 66 years before her death in 2021. Ralph worked at Ervin Industries in Adrian, MI for 40 years. He was a member of the Chelsea First Congregational Church.
Survivors include his daughter Cheryl of Homer; five grandchildren, Jacob Wurster of Utah, Sarah Wurster of Arizona, Nicole Wurster of California, Jocelyn Wurster of California, and Patrick Campbell of Albion; 2 great-grandsons; and 4 great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Phyllis Wurster and his son Todd Wurster, and also 12 brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Chelsea, Michigan at a later date.
