Obituaries

of Chelsea, formerly of Cincinnati, OH, age 89, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at his home. He was born October 14, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Albert & Amelia (Dames) Weyman. Ed graduated from St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati.  He served in the US Army in Panama during WWII.   After the war, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Xavier University in 1951,  and also attended the University of Cincinnati, where he met his wife, Gloria.   He worked for Western Printing Company, Clark Trucking and Rigging, and owned an antique & gift store in Metamora, Indiana.  Ed was a member of St. Aloysisus Gonzaga in Cincinnati, 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Hamilton County Farm Association.

   On August 25, 1953, he married Gloria Gabriel in Cincinnati, and she preceded him in death on May 9, 2012. Survivors include his daughter, Laura (Adon) Staebler of Chelsea; 4 grandchildren, Elsa, Andy, Kali (Casey), Britt (Wayne); 2 great-grandchildren, Oliver, Elsie; and many nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by 5 siblings & their spouses, Paul Weyman, John Weyman, Albert (Else) Weyman, Robert (Mary) Weyman, Jane (Holt Pitts) Peck; and a granddaughter, Gabrielle.
