Age 86, died on Sunday May 15, 2016 at the Chelsea Retirement Community in Chelsea, MI. Nancy was born on December 19, 1929 in South Bend, IN to Dorothy and Cecil Bloom. She graduated from Central High School in South Bend and attended Indiana University. For many years Nancy worked as a pantograph operator for South Bend Metal Products. She retired to Venice, FL with her husband Jim in 1986.In addition to her daughters Jill Skoving of South Bend, IN, and Beth (Matt) Seeger of Dexter, MI, Nancy is survived by her grandchildren Nick (Delia) Robertson, Danny Robertson, Maggie (John) Swift, Henry Seeger, and her great granddaughter Seneca Swift. Her brother-in-law Ken (Claudia) T'Kindt, nephews, Casey T'Kindt, Ryan (Beth) T'Kindt, and niece Kelly (Dario) Primo also survive. She was predeceased by her husband, James, her son, Scott Skoving, her parents, Dorothy and Cecil Bloom and her sister, Karen T'Kindt.

Nancy will be remembered for her great loves. Those include her family, her music, her books, journals, Cirque du Soleil, many "projects," and her simple tastes in foods.

Services and burial for Nancy Skoving will be private and held at a later date. Arrangements by Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.
