age 105, formerly of Lexington, KY and Detroit, MI went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 20th, 2016 in Chelsea, MI after living a long, happy and fulfilling life. Daughter of Ernest and Isabel Bureau, she was born on May 29th, 1910 under the tail of Halley’s comet. She was a University of Kentucky graduate with degrees in Engineering and Mathematics. Loving wife and mother, Elise was known for her sunny smile, servant heart and desire to give back to her community. Elise volunteered for FISH, Meals On Wheels, her local church and was an active member of the Chelsea Retirement Community for 16 years.
She was the beloved wife of Garni Moretti whom she traveled with to New Zealand, Sweden, France, and Italy to visit family and friends. She is survived by son, Haldan Moretti and his wife Barbara, Livonia, MI; daughter, Maura King and her husband, Ben, Glassboro, NJ; four grandchildren, Tony, Scott, Benjamin and Emily; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Garni and sister Jeanne Bureau.
