Of Jackson, formerly of Chelsea, age 97, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Allegiance Hospital in Jackson. She was born February 18, 1918 in Chelsea, Michigan, the daughter of Fred J. and Emma Marie (Visel) Seitz. Estelle was a member of Saint John's United Church of Christ in Jackson and the Eastern Star of Jackson. She was a homemaker, gardener, and a great cook.
Estelle is survived by two daughters, Karen (Mel) Winchell of Jackson, Judy Wellman of Jackson; a son, Charles (Sharon) Howell of Menasha, WI; as well as 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and their wives, Paul (Katherine) Seitz and Walter (Marge) Seitz.
Funeral services were held Thursday, August 20, 1:00 pm at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, with Rev. Jim Coyl officiating. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. The family received friends Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
