Age 52, died Friday, May 9, 2014 in his home. He was born May 24, 1961 in Dearborn, Michigan, the son of Gerald A. and Bertha H. (Waterfall) Curtis.
Teddy attended Chelsea High School, but later graduated from Pioneer High in Ann Arbor. He worked at the Pilot Travel Center on Baker Road in Ann Arbor. Teddy enjoyed time with his family
Survivors include his children, Annie Nalls of Jackson, Teddy E. (Ashley) Curtis of Jackson; five sisters, Eileene Wagner of Wayne, Frostie Carter of Wayne, Christine Basham of West Virginia, Grace Morin of Canton, and Peggy Gauss of Dexter; 7 grandchildren, Malayna, Rayf, Carl, Tyler, San’Trisha Audriel, San’Talaya Rochelle, San’Jamieá Precious; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Trisha Curtis; a grandson, Sir’Tedrick Edward-Lee Curtis; his parents, six brothers, and a sister.
A service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Freedom Evangelical Cemetery, Freedom Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
